Brandon Plante has extensive experience in cell culture and data analysis from experimental results. He has a M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences from Iowa State University where he examined the effectiveness of novel compounds to reduce microglial activation. Prior to his graduate studies, Plante gained research experience as an undergraduate student at Saint John's University synthesizing novel boronic acid compounds. He also has medical and emergency response experience from his roles as an EMT, medical assistant, and security officer. Plante is skilled in laboratory techniques including cell culture, fluorescence microscopy, and RT-qPCR as well as data analysis and communication skills.
