The Amateur League of Radio Emissions from Distrito Federal (LABRE-DF) is hosting the BRASILIA YEAR 54 CONTEST from April 19-27 to celebrate the 54th anniversary of Brasilia. The contest involves multiple modes on various HF bands and aims to work stations in Brazil and internationally. Participants can compete in categories including national, QRP, youth, and field operation. Logs are due by August 31st and results will be announced on September 6th with an awards ceremony on November 1st.

The Amateur League of Radio Emissions from Distrito Federal (LABRE-DF) invites all hamradios
to participate of the BRASILIA YEAR 54 CONTEST in order to celebrate the 54th anniversary from the

RULES
1. OBJECTIVE

3. CATEGORIES
National, International, Yls and DF state Stations (classified separately):
Unique operator:
Monoband, QRP (till 5W), low power (Higher than 5W till 200W) and High
power (higher than 200W) and field stations (Field Day like stations).
Multiband, QRP (till 5W), low power (Higher than 5W till 200W) and High
power (higher than 200W) and field stations (Field Day like stations).
Clubs
Clubs, associations and multioperators stations (teams).
Observations:
The PT2AAA station will participate as "hors concours".
The Field station is that ones that is not on its adresses and into a config that
allows portability (Camping, cantonment or mobile stations for example).
4. MESSAGE
Brazilian stations: RST + State province abb eviati n (such as DF, AM, RS, RJ, SP).
International Stations: RST + Sequencial starting on number 1 (it will not restart when
band change).
Additional information on the messages:
YL stations must add /YL after the message;
QRP stations must add /Q and,
Field stations must add /F.

5. POINTS

Observation:
Repetitive QSOs will be validated since made on different bands.
6. MULTIPLIERS
Each state and country worked by band.
7. SCORE
Total points times the total of multipliers.
8. PRIZES
First place for each category will receive trophies.
Second and third places for each category will receive certificates, subject to the
same terms and conditions and minimum number of contacts required for the top finishers.
9. LOG REPORT
It will be only computed confirmed QSOs reported on LOG Report or, in case of the
station do not send it, it have to be on five another stations LOGs.
LOGs must be sent:
ADIF, Cabrillo or spreadsheet with Callsign and mode at the SUBJECT of the E-mail
message (ex. PT2AAA-CW or PT2AAA-PHONE), to secretaria@labre-df.org.
Paper Logs will be received if sent to :

10. RESULTS AND PRIZE CERIMONY

revisions will be accepted till August 31st 2014. The decisions of the contest commission are
final.
The final result will be displayed on September 6th 2014 and can be checked at the
same webpa e afte the ce im ny at LABREs dependencies

- Menu / File / New Log in Database
Select the log type DXSERIAL

Note the serial number received at RcvdNr field and ignore the Comment field.
