This document discusses the process of manufacturing bricks. It begins by explaining that bricks are made by molding clay into rectangular blocks and then drying and burning them. Bricks are a durable building material commonly used in construction. The document then outlines the key steps to make bricks, which are winning clay from the earth, preparing the clay in a pug mill, moulding the clay into blocks using moulding boxes, drying the molded bricks, and finally burning them in a kiln at high temperatures. It also lists important components of good brick-making clay and harmful ingredients to avoid.
2. How to manufacture the brick? and
where it is used?

e.t.c.
3. Why it is used?
The common bricks are one of the oldest building
material and it is extensively used at present leading
material of construction.
Because of its durability, strength, reliability, low cast,
and easy availability.
12. preparation of clay by pug mill:
A pug mill consists
of a conical iron tub
with cover at its top.
The bottom of tub is
covered except for the
hole to take out
