The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 when William Booth, a London minister, decided to take his message to the public and reach those who were hungry, poor and homeless.
The Salvation Army is now stronger than ever. Currently, The Salvation Army is in over 115 nations worldwide and provides services where needed most. They continue
As a proud member of the American Taekwondo Association, the largest centrally-managed martial arts system in the world, ATA Family Martial Arts has been offers Colorado an unparalleled taekwondo experience. Our classes teach students how to use blocks, strikes, and kicks, as well as how to put the moves together and use them in a practical scenario thanks to our powerful and constantly expanding self-defense system. And, most importantly of all, we teach moral values such as respect and discipline so students know not only how to use taekwondo, but when to use it. Each of our taekwondo schools has an upbeat, family-friendly atmosphere and a diverse, flexible schedule. This means that all students can take class in a safe environment at a time convenient for them. Our classes are even divided into programs specifically tailored to fit many different age groups, so all of our students can learn, get the exercise they need, and have fun every time they come in.
All of this is possible because of our nationally- certified instructors. Each staff member at ATA FMA is ready to challenge students to do their best, work with them on a personal level, and ensure that they have fun at every taekwondo class regardless of age or gender.
Whether you are 4 or 104, ATA Family Martial Arts has a program for you!

Available Programs
Tiny TigersThe Tiny Tiger program is specifically targeted at our 4 to 6 year old students. It offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for the age group.
Karate for KidsThe Kids are our 7 to 12 year old students. They are all different in size and maturity, but are united by the desire to participate in an organized athletic program with a variety of activities and goals. This specially-designed program offers children many benefits that will help shape their future by giving them self-respect and confidence in their own abilities. The Karate for Kids motto is: "EVERY KID IS A WINNER!"
Teens and AdultsThe Teen program is for 13 to 19 year old students. The Adult program is for students over the age of 19. In these classes, we work with students to overcome their personal obstacles and be the best they can be whether they come to us physically fit or not. The Teen and Adult programs are meant to challenge students, but both are modifiable to suit each individual based on their abilities. Many accomplished and successful athletes have joined the ATA to complement their sports training and give them the edge on their competition!
Adults start at any age. Some adults join the ATA as late as age 65, and have still earned their black belts. As a student, you are looked upon as an individual and never compared to anyone else. Our instructors will be there every step of the way. All that is expected of you is a willingness to work and improve to the best of your own ability.
