is the working library of the
Torino World Affairs Institute.
The bulk of its collection
is dedicated to the history,
politics, economics and
society of modern China and
India, security in the Indo-
Paci?c region, and relations
between China and the Euro-
Mediterranean region.

acquisitions focuses on

group founded by Prof. Zhao

China¡¯s Futures¡±.

Summer School 2015 opened in
March 2015. This edition of the
School will focus on China¡¯s ¡°One
belt, one road¡± initiative and its
impact in Central Asia and the
wider Mediterranean region.
Applications from Euro-
Mediterranean countries will be
given priority. TOChina seeks
partnerships with local institutions
to enrich the TOChina faculty with
regional experts on the critical
dynamics impacting on relations
between China and the region.
In the long run, the TOChina
system can only ful?l its broader
potential by opening its research
and training programs to a
community that goes beyond
Italian and Chinese students,
practitioners and institutions.
Through partnerships with
relevant academic institutions,
think-tanks, and donors from
Southern Europe, TOChina¡¯s
capacity-building expertise
can be put to the service of
the development agendas of
countries and companies in the
wider Euro-Mediterranean region,
allowing for an effective and
responsible engagement with
today¡¯s (and tomorrow¡¯s) China.
