Auditorium to celebrate the naming of the Murray Koppelman School of
Business. Murray Koppelman (57) was recognized after donating to the
school $12.5 million, an endowment that inspired another $2.5 million in
gifts from other parties. At the naming ceremony in October, Murray
Kopplemans contribution and legacy was discussed by a number of
college officials, including Brooklyn College president Karen Gould.

Gould explained that Kopplemans success story in the business world
will resonate with current and future students who pass through the
newly named Murray Koppelman School of Business. During the
ceremony, School of Business dean Willie Hopkins also noted that
Koppelman is a visionary whose support emphasizes how a strong
business school can impact industry and society.
