STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT Strategic Direction 1 Ensure Increased Student Achievement in all of our Schools. Examine alternative education strategies Develop a common curriculum for 7 th  and 8 th  grade Honors Implement Pre-AP classes at 9 th  grade Examine grading practices in grades 7 - 12
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT Recommend and implement strategies to close the achievement gap Expand linkages with preschool, daycare providers, parents, community, and post secondary schools Examine the use of instructional time Review grade level configurations

Review facility needs of the district Develop a district-wide pedestrian and traffic safety plan Implement and align policy and resources supportive of the Board¡¯s goals Implement bandwidth improvements Monitor and analyze emerging issues related to the economy and the impact on the district Examine programs and services for potential savings ACCOUNTABILITY
