This document outlines the assessment criteria for the Phonetics & Phonology course taken in the second semester of a BS degree. It specifies that student behavior, responsiveness and punctuality will make up 5% of the final grade. A midterm exam based on the first 3 units will be worth 25% and an open book quiz on a selected unit will be 20%. The final exam, worth 30% of the total grade, will consist of a written assessment on all lectures (20%) and an oral assessment/viva voce exam conducted over 5 days via video call (10%). The viva voce exam will review all course lectures.
