and that means more profit

? To improve outside play area which will help bring families in to the farm
at quieter times of the year
Butchery Objectives

? To increase the spend. Currently average spend is ?35. If they
increas the spend to e.g. ?40 they will make more profit
? To extend product range .They could make different flavours of pies
and sausages.Party packs of meat and vegetables or salad could be
made up for Barbecues.
? To maintain quality of product. The customers will not mind paying
more money on ther products

Ownership

The business is a partnership between Tom Oates and James D¡¯Arcy

Responsibilities
James is taking photos of landscapes and buildings from inside and outside
Tom is taking photos of people e.g. school photos and weddings

Location
The business will be based in our homes and in a hired studio in Ripon.
The business will also have a Website with examples of our work for potential customers to see.
They will be able to buy our photos online.
The aim for the business is to make profit within a year

OBJECTIVES 1

To advertise locally to get minimum of 3 customers per week spending
?40 each or more. This is because our costs are ?100 per week and we
want to make a profit of ?20

Is this SMART?
Specific ¨C this objective is clear and is about our business
Measurable-you would now because we would now the number of
customers we have and the amount of profit
Achievable-because we have sead we are going to make ?100 a week
which means we have made it achievable
Relevant- it is relevant because we have said that we will have a local
business and that we will get a minimum of customers

Time- this is time bound because our business as set a time by making
?100 per week
OBJECTIVES 2
To take and edit a minimum of 156 pictures a year,(100 by Tom of people and the rest by
James),using at lest 1 ful day a week to do this.
This is to meet our objective of selling 3 photographs a week and it takes into account
that the buisness will sell more photographs of people than landscapes and buildings

photographs taken in a year.

To update the website weekly in order to attract new customers
and keep existing ones. This is to keep the site new and fresh as it
is the main ¡®location¡¯ of the business.
