Imperial Oil¡¯s Townsite was a
planned residential community
developed in the early 1920s
In 1923, before there was road
access, there were 81 houses
The refinery closed in 1995.
Some houses were moved elsewhere,
others have been boarded up
There are now 13 houses left.
There is some maintenance
of roofs and yards
