The set design calls for a 1950s-style diner interior with chrome accents, retro lighting fixtures that give an overall dingy feel, and square tables and chairs. The back wall will feature appliances and glassware typical of mid-century diners. Once acquired, the bar area will have windows, baked goods, posters, and machinery with a dingy color palette. The finished set will resemble the bar design with vintage barstools and a window to see outside, establishing an old-timey atmosphere through placement of props and attention to visibility of all details.

- 2. General Design The general design will be that of typical diners in the 1950s. Just like this picture to the right there will be a lot of chrome. This picture is also a very good example of what the stage would look like. Notice that the set is a bit dingy.
