terraplasma medical develops a medical device,
the plasma care, for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds.
We fight multi resistant bacteria with cold plasma to improve
patients quality of life and to optimize the medical professionals
wound care process.
imagine youve got a wound and its not getting smaller but bigger
and is contaminated with multi resistant bacteria. The wound healing is
effected negatively and is very painful.
it all started with fundamental space research at the Max-Planck institute.
There, a technology was developed to generate cold plasma that can be used at body temperature in the medicine.
Multi resistant bacteria is one of the biggest problems in wound healing which can be fought with cold plasma.
Out of the responsibility for the society, terraplasma medical was founded in March 2016 to take care of that problem!
Plasma is an ionized gas.

Chronic Wounds
The use of antiseptics and antibiotics is questionable!
Application time
of antiseptics is up to 40 min.
Antibiotics need to be
applied until the next wound
dressing change.
Treatment time of plasma care
is approx. 60 sec.

Clinical Study
SUMMARY
Numerous research to test the effectiveness, compatibility,
and adverse effects have been executed in vitro and ex vivo.
First and largest clinical study worldwide with cold
atmospheric plasma.
In total 379 patients have been treated within 8 years.
More than 3000 treatments have been carried out so far.
No side effects or allergic reactions!
 Painless treatment!
Very good acceptance by the patients!

Clinical Study
Painless - The treatment with plasma itself is painless and well-tolerated
by patients.
Clinical proven The benefits of the cold plasma have been proved in
a multi centric study with 379 patients.
Effective By using cold atmospheric plasma, multi resistant bacteria
located in the wound are effectively inactivated.
Fast & Mobile - The daily plasma treatment takes approximately 60s.
The plasma care is battery operated and easy in its handling.
Safe There are no indications for side effects and allergic reactions.
