terraplasma medical develops a medical device, the plasma care, for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds. We fight multi resistant bacteria with cold plasma to improve patients quality of life and to optimize the medical professionals wound care process. imagine youve got a wound and its not getting smaller but bigger and is contaminated with multi resistant bacteria. The wound healing is effected negatively and is very painful.
it all started with fundamental space research at the Max-Planck institute. There, a technology was developed to generate cold plasma that can be used at body temperature in the medicine. Multi resistant bacteria is one of the biggest problems in wound healing which can be fought with cold plasma. Out of the responsibility for the society, terraplasma medical was founded in March 2016 to take care of that problem!
