1. One of the most exhilarating feelings is the tingling sensation of team success.
Team Quiz Bowl .
The team competed at the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition (OCMC)
with myself placing 3rd and another team member placing 4th . It was an
experience that literally changed all of our lives. Each player took away time
management skills, team leadership skills and respect.
2. First major soccer tournament representing the Centennial College Varsity Soccer Mens Team competing in the
annual Regional Indoor Soccer tournament playing as fullback (defender). Our team did not make it to the
playoffs but knowing the value of the famous quote Practice makes Perfect was the hard learnt lesson
throughout the tournament.
3. The transition from a college student into a full time Customer Service Representative (CSR) at the
RBTT/RBC Bank was one of hardship and challenges but these hurdles were met with enthusiasm,
energy and fervor. This position gave me the opportunity to develop excellent communication skills, multi-
tasking abilities and vast knowledge into the finance industry.
4. My first day as an international student at Centennial College. Coming to a foreign country to live on my
own and undertake such a commitment has open my eyes to the huge responsibilities that come with
becoming a young adult indulging in success.
5. This marks a significant experience in my life as it is the day that I took oath to become the God Parent of
a child. This step taught me to be a more caring, understanding, patient, and humble individual. Being a
role model for this child gave me hope that if I can impact one person in my life time I would have left the
world in a much better condition to what I met.
