This document discusses 3D computer models. A 3D model is a mathematical representation of a physical object that includes surfaces and interior materials. It can produce a visual display of an object in three dimensions as if it existed. Parameters in a 3D model can be either finite-dimensional for a parametric model or infinite-dimensional for a nonparametric model.
