1. Calculating Percents Spreadsheet Type the title, Sport Teams Records in cell C1 Type your name in cell A2 Type the column headings in row 3 as follows: Cell A3 Teams Cell B3 Won Cell C3 Lost Cell D3 Total Cell E3 Percent Won

6. Totals Compute the total number of games for each team in Column D Select D4 In the formula bar at the top enter this: = B4 + C4 (no spaces) Press ENTER The total number should appear in cell D4
7. Totals Click on D4 and drag your mouse down to D9 With the text still highlighted, click Edit then Fill, then Down This adds all your scores without making you add each team.
8. Percent of Wins The formula for percent is Wins divided by Total Games times 100. This is a 2 step process. Click on cell E4 Enter this formula into the formula line =B4/D4*100 Now, click on E4 and highlight to E9 Click Edit, Fill, Down
9. Changing decimal points Highlight Column E Go to Format Cells Number You can change the number of decimal places by using the up arrow Click OK
