Rajesh Gupta, Chair of Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego, introduces CaliT2 which focuses on collaborations and learning in future spaces. The summit identified, articulated, and planned to execute projects at the intersections of computing and fields like culture, environment, health, and energy. These interdisciplinary projects aimed to use computing research to address societal challenges. Gupta welcomed attendees to be part of an exciting time for collaborative, impactful research through CaliT2.
