This document outlines a campaign called "Call for Compassion" that aims to encourage compassion for the homeless population in Washington D.C. The campaign will partner with nonprofits, create a letter writing hub for the community, address public perceptions of homelessness through "Sign for Help", and allow people to gain perspective into the homeless experience through "Street View". Research included interviews with homeless individuals and community studies. Potential drawbacks include not having a consistent target population for primary research and challenges measuring social engagement. Continued engagement on social media and letters is key for the campaign's success.
