CAN ANYONE BE PERFECT? Sandy had woken up late again. She dashed out of the house, hoping to get to work in time. I need to be better organized, she thought, as she hurriedly boarded a bus. Thankfully, she arrives at the office at exactly 8am, only to see that her boss had responded to an email she sent the night before. Perfect! Youve carried out the assignment excellently well, he wrote. She received the message with mixed feelings. At first, she was excitement at the commendation, but after a few minutes, she pondered on her supervisors choice of words. How could she, who had wished to be more organized just a few hours earlier, be described as perfect? Can anyone actually be perfect? she thought. In fact, theres no place in Gods Word that suggests the impossibility of perfection. Perfection can be measured at different stages of ones life.
