- 2. Capability Statement BUSINESS SUMMARY Hicks Group is a third party certified woman-owned and minority small business and mental health professional practice. Our primary work is with tweens, teens, and adults who have low self-esteem, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, abuse, and those in domestic violent and unhealthy relationships. We specialize in cognitive behavior approaches, mindfulness based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), life coaching, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Rotation) other counseling orientations. Our office has a special interest in providing mental health services to uninsured and under-insured clients, civilian and military women & men (MST & combat PTSD) and families, law enforcement officers. Individuals in domestic violent or unhealthy relationships, those suffering from uterine fibroids, cancers, lupus, and HIV/AIDS. As well as other services. We are multicultural and here to help all. We do home visits and E-therapy.
