Health inequity refers to measurable and unjust differences in health between groups that stem from social disadvantages. Health care inequity describes similar unjust differences specifically related to access, use, quality and outcomes of health care. Both individual and organizational factors can contribute to health and health care inequities through algorithmic systems and other means.
