THIS IS NOT A CAREER FAIR • We planned this event based on feedback we have received from students and companies alike – no more career fairs! • This is an attempt to move away from the conventional career fair format which does not facilitate a way for companies to truly connect with their future team members on a personal level.
THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY • At this event you will have a chance to work with groups of students in order to recruit, connect, network, and better understand today’s labor force. • Through games and activities you’ll have a chance to express your needs and interests as a company, you’ll also play a big role in the career planning of young professionals who attend the event.

SCHEDULE 16:30-17:30 – Networking training for students 17:30 – 18:00 – Students practice what they learned , stations/ Companies arrive 18:00-18:30 – Get to know you table game 1 18:30 – 19:00 – 3 companies present 19: 00 – 19:30 - Pasta team building contest game 2 19: 30 – 20:10 - 5 companies talk about their offers of job shadowing lottery 20:10 – 21:00 – mingle and connect, network 21:00 21:10 – Students and companies discuss employable qualities and skills needed or employment 21:10 – 21:20 – 5 companies announce the winners of the Job Shadowing contest 21:20- 22:00 – Concluding Remarks, End
