12, 2011 to May 4, 2011 involving over24,000 U.S. service members, 189 aircraft, and 24 naval
ships and costing $90 million. Resulted in receiving the humanitarian award forparticipating in
the relief effortsduring a time of crisis.
 Maintained proper operation of propulsion and electricalengines to ensure 100% effortsin a
Rescue and Recovery Mission covering a 900-square-mile area for a B-52H Stratofortress that
crashed off the coast of Apra Harbor, Guam. Spent two days looking forsurvivors and received
Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation forthe ship's efforts in responding to the downed
Air ForceB-52 bomber just hours after leaving Guam
