Among the most noteworthy gadgets, Bond has been equipped with various vehicles that have numerous modifications to include elaborate weapons and anti-pursuit systems, alternative transportation modes, and various other functions. One car in particular that has been linked to Mr. Bond's collection is the Aston Martin DB5, AKA “The most Famous Car in the World”.

1967 [ you only live twice ] Toyota 000 GT The first two were built exclusively for the Bond movie. Only 351 of these rare Japanese supercars were then built between 1967 and 1970. 1969 [ on her majesty’s secret service] Aston martin dbs No gadgets, as this was the wedding car that James and his new wife Teresa “Tracy” Bond left the church in on their way to their honeymoon. Unfortunately as they stopped to remove flowers from the car she was shot and killed by Blofeld and Irma Bunt as they drove passed. ----------------------- Q BRANCH CLASSIFIED -----------------------
1971 [ diamonds are forever] Ford mustang mach Again no deadly Q Branch additions to this vehicle, but Bond did famously put it on two wheels to slide down the alley way and escape. 1974 [ the man with the golden gun ] AMC hornet x hatchback Stolen from an AMC dealership in Bangkok by crashing through the showroom window 007 then went on to perform the famous twisting corkscrew aerial jump, which was captured in a single film take. ----------------------- Q BRANCH CLASSIFIED -----------------------
1977 [ the spy who loved me ] Lotus esprit S Handed over to Bond in Sardinia the main Q Branch feature of this Lotus was the ability for it to transform into a submarine. 1979 [ moonraker ] Bentley MARK VI The Bentley Mark VI 4-door sports saloon was the first post-war luxury car from Bentley. After Bond’s 1933 Bentley was destroyed he bought this one on the condition that the test driver brings the vehicle to the ferry terminal at Calais by the following evening ----------------------- Q BRANCH CLASSIFIED -----------------------

MERCEDES BENZ 0 SE 1983 [ OCTOPUSSY] After the tires get torn off by a stinger device, Bond drives the car on the railway tracks in pursuit of the circus train. It was subsequently hit by a train coming down the opposite line and thrown into a river. RENAULT 1985 [ A view to a kill] Also known as the most boring car Bond ever drove, this Renault Taxi was chosen because it was equipped with front-wheel-drive, so it could keep going even after it had been chopped in half and had its rear wheels missing ----------------------- Q BRANCH CLASSIFIED -----------------------
Aston martin v vantage volante 1987 [ The living daylights] Originally a convertible, it was later "winterised" by adding a hardtop. Aston Martin V Vanquish 2002 [ Die Another Day] Here we see the return of the Aston Martin, and the ejector seat as well. Aston Martin DBS V 2006 [ CASINO ROYALE] The gadgets in this Aston Martin DBS V12 were minimal and realistic. 2012 [ SKYFALL ] Aston martin db Bond rescued M from an attack by Raoul Silva, and decided to take her to Scotland. Stopping by a garage first, Bond told M that they would have to switch cars, as the MI6 cars all have trackers. Aston Martin DB 2015 [ SPECTRE] Only 10 Aston Martin DB10’s were made and all of them only for Spectre.
