channel by Gaurav Munjal. Later Roman saini joined him.
 in 2015 ,Started Online Education Portal launched
unacademy.com .
 Co-founded by 4 peoples.
 it is a platform that offers online education in India.
Unacademy educators consist of either students who have
cleared various exams or mentors who have teaching
experience.

Needs
 Many peoples not able to access good education and lack of
guidance in rural area,
 90% of Indians don’t have access to coaching Hubs. Online
learning can bridge this gap.
 Making education accessible to all for free.

UPSC,PSC, SSC,Bank,GATE exams
 96% Indians can't comprehend English, So we need
vernacular content . retention can be increased by creating
content in local languages

 Creating new educators like smart peoples who did not have
option to teach offline centers. Now in unacademy even if

How Educator Earns Their
Money
 Unacademy educator earns money but not like monthly salary
 you are paid only if you achieve a milestone like there are
milestones for 500 views and then 1000 views and so on.

 BYJU is paid. Unacademy is free except live courses
 Methodology used , Unacademy overwrite voice over picture
, which is fine for adults .but tricky with school children.
 BYJU & Unacademy they both provide content ,but have
different focus on mass.
 BYJU is primarily considered for school syllabus and other.
while Unacademy for exam preparation.
 you can choose your educator (hope we had a choice at
choosing teachers at school), for a particular subject and
other educator for other subject.
