Kilims are an all- around used piece in the every day life of tribes. The tribe of Yorük, what even today is a nomadising tribe in Central Anatolia, uses the slit weaving technique to create the Kilims they weave on their resting places. Kilims of tribes, what nomadise even today are always handwoven of pure natural wool and the wool is always dyed with natural colours.
