CCOM will design a horizontal three phase separator to efficiently separate oil, gas, and water for clients. The project team will provide specifications, drawings, and a control system to separate and measure each substance. A three phase separator is a vessel that uses density differences to separate well fluids into gas, oil, and water which exit at different levels.

5. CCOM will be designing a horizontal three phase separator which will include all of the instruments and DCS operated control system. Oil, gas and water will enter the vessel as one substance. CCOMs ultimate goal is to be able to efficiently separate, measure and control each substance individually in an integrated process system.

8. A three phase separator is a vessel which separates well fluids into gas, oil, and water. The gas leaves the vessel at the top, passing through a mist extractor to remove the small liquid droplets from the gas stream before it leaves the separator. The liquids (oil, and water), leave the vessel from the bottom through different valves.
