CelluloseTek has developed a new fertilizer deposition process that uses a customized polymer film coating. The process allows for precise coating of fertilizers with polymers. This results in fertilizers with highly customized release rates and uniform coating thickness for predictable release. Products include controlled release fertilizers in granular form as well as value-added coatings for mulch that provide weed control, moisture retention and other benefits while avoiding over application of fertilizer.
