Analysing and clarifying language with a variety of techniques. Developing good rapport with students. AREAS FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT As part of an action plan for development Edmond should continue to work on the following areas: Making his classes more student centred so that students are more engaged and get much more time to practice speaking skills. Being more aware of students problems by monitoring more closely and conducting feedback to meet their needs. Providing more language feedback and error correction for students so they are able to improve their language use. OVERALL COMMENT Edmond was an enthusiastic and cooperative member of the course. He came on to the course with considerable experience, but established a good rapport with the students from the outset. His planning and teaching showed understanding of English language learning and teaching, and he made progress in developing students' skills and language. He showed awareness of the learners so that they benefitted from the lessons. Edmond was popular with peers and students alike. He was always open in feedback and made useful comments to others about their lessons. He was also an active participant in input sessions. He should continue to develop well as a teacher of English. It was a pleasure to work with him, and everyone at IH Bangkok wishes him all the best in his future teaching career.
