Central Florida Spiritual Garden receives world recognition

Sacred Orisha Gardens of Ifa Foundation of North America featured in
important academic publication. http://www.ifafoundation.org/the-sacred-
gardens/

University Press of Florida to publish Africa in Florida, featuring Central
Florida Spiritual Retreat Ola Olu and its Sacred Orisha Gardens. One of the
chapters, The Sacred Space of Ola Olu: A NeoYoruba Site in Florida,
focuses on the Orisha Gardens near Crescent City Florida. The Gardens are
used in spiritual retreats attracting people from all over the United States
and form many other places in the world.

Professor Robin Poynor states: The Orisha Gardens are unique in
Florida and in the United States. Perhaps the closest comparison would be a
site in Nigeria that has been designated as a World Heritage Site, the Oshun
Shrine in Oshogbo, Nigeria. The site in Florida is surely the most extensive
Sacred Garden of its type in North America. The ways in which it recalls
certain African concepts, extends them to address a new place and a new
age

The Gardens are open year round and host visitors from all over the world.
