The presentation provides an overview of the CRC for Rail Innovation research program which focuses on 7 themes: climate change and the environment, safety and security, performance, smart technologies, urban rail access, workforce development, and adoption and commercialization. For each theme, several specific research projects are listed that will be undertaken. The presentation concludes by discussing plans for a knowledge bank to collect and share research outcomes and the importance of collaboration to ensure effective adoption and commercialization of research results.
