Cereal Hack 2 will be a hackathon event held November 10-11 at the new Hacker Lab campus in Sacramento. The event aims to bring together 100 coders, designers, and business developers to collaborate over 48 hours to build projects that address real problems. Sponsorship opportunities are available at different levels to support the event costs and future development of Hacker Lab, which provides resources for entrepreneurs. Judging will consider the impact, viability, progress, and business potential of projects. Proceeds will fund improvements and programs at Hacker Lab's campus.

We’re a team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about technology,
education, and startups.Our goal is to kickstart the startup culture throughout
the Sacramento Region. Hackathons are a great way to do this. People come
together to learn, collaborate, and build great things -- all within a 48 hour

This will be the first major event held at this location, and event proceeds will
support future development.
Hacker Lab is a community of entrepreneurs, technologists, hackers, makers, and creatives. It provides resources for people to network, build teams, learn new skills,
prototype ideas, and launch their business.

Primary use of funding will support hard costs of the event, which include:
Prizes - we aim to offer a cash prize of a minimum of 2,500
Food - 6 meals for approx. 100 people each
