This test report summarizes the results of microwave safety testing conducted on 5 plastic bowls submitted by Taizhou Baide Ecotechnology Co. Ltd. The bowls were filled with water and subjected to 10 consecutive 5-minute cycles in a 850-watt microwave oven. The surface temperature of each bowl was measured after the first cycle and found to be below 60°C. Each bowl was then visually examined after every cycle and showed no cracking, chipping, or other defects. All 5 bowls passed the microwave safety test.

Test Procedure: 1. Visually inspect samples and record any cosmetic defects.
2. Fill samples two-thirds (2/3) full with water and place in the 850watt microwave
oven. The last sample will be used as a standard sample. Shut the microwave oven
door.
3. Set the microwave to 100% (full) power and run for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 minutes remove product from microwave and measure and record surface
temperature with IR thermometer or thermocouple.
A) Measure temperature of mugs on top portion of handle.
B) Measure plate or bowl temperatures near top rim of plate or bowl (at a normal
hand contact point).
5. Let samples sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.
6. Re-set microwave oven to 100% (full) power and run for 5 minutes, remove each
sample from the microwave oven and visually examine.
7. Repeat the 5-minute microwave oven cycle for a total of 10 cycles.
Note: only measures the surface temperature of the item after the first 5-minute
cycle.
8. Record any cracking, chipping, crazing, breaking, discoloration, deformation, or
warping of product.
Requirement: 1. The average surface temperature of the samples shall not greater than 140°F (60°C)
after the first 5 minutes (1 cycle).
2. The tested samples shall not show signs of cracking, chipping, crazing, breakage,
discoloration, deformation, or warping during or after 10 complete microwave cycles.
