Single mothers face financial hardship as the median income for single-mother households is half that of typical families. Single Mothers Outreach was founded in 1990 to provide support for single parents and their children. It aims to empower families and help them become self-sustaining through providing resources, education assistance, clothing, and online support groups. Volunteers and donations are needed to help single parents in the Santa Clarita Valley.
