This document describes an intelligent location tracker application that controls battery consumption by GPS. It determines a user's location precision based on their speed of motion, such as idle, walking, or moving fast. When a user is idle or walking, it uses less battery-intensive methods like WiFi/cellular triangulation instead of GPS. This allows more efficient location tracking while preserving battery life. The application lets users choose their desired precision level and exports location data to maps.

2. WHAT
It is a critical power saving application that
controls the battery consumption levels
based on the speed of motion of the user
3. WHY
Location tracking through GPS, Internet and GSM
triangulation is a battery intensive application
So why track your location data so frequently when
walking or waiting somewhere?
When on a photo-walk you might want to track the
location only when walking and not driving to the location
On a long trip you can optimize your GPS to work on a
relatively lesser accurate mapping mode, thus consuming
less battery.
On a short trip opt for higher efficiency instead
4. HOW
User can decide on the level of precision they
desire.
Using Googles new fused location provider we
can determine:
Users position as idle, walking at brisk pace or
moving fast.
The application will automatically toggle inbetween the sensors: GPS and WiFi/3G/4G
networks to determine the users location.
