Placement rates at a university have declined over three years, reducing industry satisfaction with its graduates. This is due to issues with the university's goodwill, student employability, networking, and training. Specifically, the university's reputation has suffered from scandals and lack of support for companies. Students have poor job skills due to insufficient facilities and assurance of placements. Weak networking limits opportunities. Training is also inadequate. To address these, the university must strengthen its placement cell, demonstrate professionalism, carefully match students and jobs, build employer relationships through hospitality, and encourage student involvement. Cooperation between universities, companies and students is needed.

8. Tip 1 : Placement Officer or Placement Cell :
If your college doesnt have a Placement Officer or a Placement
Cell, then it is the first and foremost point to look at. Trying to
get campus placement to a college is similar to a recruitment
agency trying to run their business without a recruiter.
Your Placement Cell is the must and if you are serious about
campus placement, they are the most important aspect to make it
successful. Resources in placement cell should be dedicated and
well recognized.
9. Tip 2 : Professionalism :
Showing professionalism in every step of the way from the first
email you send to a Company HR to the way you and your college
conduct themselves when a company HR visit your campus,
makes a huge and lasting impression.
Most, if not all, Company HRs rate this tip as quite high in their list.
It is also worth defining a Code of conduct for your college so
everyone in your college knows what to follow.
Tip 3 : Placing Right Candidates :
When a Company visits for placement, there may be a tendency to
place as many students as they can, it is extremely important you
place candidates who are ready and eligible for that role.
This gives them an indication of which colleges have high quality
students. If the colleges expect large numbers.
10. Tip 4 : Picking The Right Campus Job : Picking the right kind
of Campus Job ensures you maintain your reputation in the
market. Though it will be very difficult to say no to campus
placement, if you believe your students are not suitable for a
particular job then you are prudent to say no. Companies would
greatly respect if you are upfront and most likely to visit you for a
job that suits your student.
Tip 5 : Hospitality :
Be a King of Good Times when a Company HR visits your college,
well except the welcome.
Like a good host, your hospitality has to excel and the Company HRs
should remember their trip.. Hospitality is one of the factor that
keeps a Company HR remember about your college. It is also great
way to network and build your professional relationship.
11. Students should take interest.
Colleges should strengthen their contact with the
companies.
Industries or companies should take interest to give the
chances to the new generation.
Their must be proper balance of everything.
