Oliver is a career project professional since 2011 and started volunteering with APM in 2016 and has since chaired the People Interest Network and the North East Regional Network. Oliver has been consulting in culture, leadership and behaviours since 2019 and co-developed HPTM速an off the shelf high performance framework for teams and organisations and is currently working with SAS (Stellenbosch Academy for Sport) developing the culture, leadership and behaviours framework for future elite sportspeople whilst also holding down work as a project manager in the NHS at North Tees and Hartlepool Foundation Trust.
David Bovis

A Leadership and Culture Change expert, David is the originator of BTFA and The Dux Model.
With a Masters in Applied Neuroscience from the Institute of Organisational Neuroscience, he is widely regarded as the Go-To expert in the field, recognised as an inspiring keynote speaker and change strategist.
He has an industrial engineering background, majoring in TPS / Lean. David worked his way up from his apprenticeship to earn his seat at the C-suite table. His career spans several industries, including Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Space, Heavy Industries and Elec-Mech / polymer contract manufacture.
Published in Londons Evening Standard quarterly business supplement, James Caans Your business Magazine, Quality World, the Lean Management Journal and Cambridge Universities PMA, he works as comfortably with leaders from FTSE and Fortune 100 companies as he does owner-managers in SMEs. He is passionate about helping leaders understand the neurological root cause of a high-performance culture and sustainable change, in business.

- 2. Family My family is one of the biggest influences I have on my occupational identity! Without my family, I wouldn'tt be the person I am today. My parents have helped shape all my values and beliefs that I hold and continue to support me with my decisions I make on my journey through life. I dont know where I would be without all my brothers and sisters, they can be super annoying but I love them all to pieces
- 3. A friend As well as my family, my friends are very important to me. They are always there for me no matter what, and I know I can always count on them. I can express myself and truly be me in their company.
- 4. Girlfriend Jordan is my favourite person in the whole world. He is my best friend and really helps define who I am. I can be myself with him and no that he can make all my worries go away. He is 100% supportive of me and my decisions to study and become an occupational therapist. I would honestly be lost without this boy!
- 5. Travelling Travelling is an occupation I have done in the past and want to continue to do in the future. There is so much to learn and to see, and I feel as if it makes you a better and stronger person stepping out of your comfort zone and taking risks- especially with your best friend!
- 6. Support worker Working as a support worker has helped shape me as a person even more. I started working at the age of 17 and have been doing the same work as I study for 5 years. Without all the wonderful people I support I would have never found the motivation to start my journey towards becoming an occupational therapist
- 7. Netball I have played netball since I was 5 years old and am currently still playing socially. At the moment I play between 6-8 games a week and feel a huge sense of loss if im not able to play at all during the week.
- 8. Student Being a student is important to me, as it is my first step into becoming an occupational therapist. I have also meet some great people and have had found a sense of belonging here at the OT school.
- 9. Knitting Knitting is a new occupation that I have learnt while studying at the OT school. I have now found that I am able to give back to the community by knitting wee singlet's and jerseys for babies and donating them to pregnancy help, which I intend to do for as long as I can
- 10. Volunteering I have been volunteering with a young lady with a disability for 3 years and absolutely love it. She is a great person who makes me think twice about some of my values that I hold.
- 11. Occupational therapist After 3 years at the polytech, I hope to be joining my fellow students at the graduation ceremony and be able to start the next part of my life as an occupational therapist
