This document outlines a 7-step process for conducting a character study from the Bible: 1) Find relevant verses, 2) Write a biography summarizing the character's background and impact, 3) Identify a key verse that represents the character, 4) Note lessons that can be learned, 5) Consider questions about the character, 6) Apply lessons to one's own life, 7) Share insights with others and commit to another study. The goal is to draw practical life applications by examining the lives of biblical figures.

When & where are they from?
Any significant events in their life?
Family Situation?
What did they do?
Who were their contemporaries?
Crowning achievement?
How did they effect their family/nation?

Did your character study reveal a
characteristic in you that needs to be
changed?
Write down specific examples of what you
need to correct/do
Write a game plan that will help you institute
the change you want
13. Step 7 - Share
