The Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a presentation about the 2010 Chilean mining rescue featuring three speakers. Jos辿 Henriquez, one of the 33 miners trapped underground for 69 days, will share his inspiring story of survival and faith. His wife Blanca Hetis, who waited at the mine during the rescue, will also speak. Reverend Alfred Cooper, the chaplain to the Chilean president during the rescue, will discuss providing spiritual support above ground. The event will take place on April 12th at 11:30 am in the Ches Leach Room.

pleased to present the inspiring story of survival and one
of the happiest news stories of all time the 2010 Featuring
Chilean mining rescue. The Speakers include Jos辿 Jose Henriquez
Henriquez, his wife Blanca Hetis and Reverend Alfred
Cooper.
Jos辿 Henriquez, a veteran miner and evangelical preacher,
was one among the 33 miners trapped for 69 days nearly
700 meters underground following a major cave-in deep
inside northern Chiles San Jos辿 coppergold mine.
Leading the men in inspired daily prayer, Henriquez
helped them ward off the dread and hopelessness.
Henriquez will be joined by his wife Blanca Hetis. She, Also Featuring
alongside other miners families encamped at the mines Blanca Hetis
makeshift settlement known as Camp Hope, waited and
prayed for news.
Also above ground, the Reverend Alfred Cooper,
chaplain to Chilean president Sebastian Pi単era, joined the
president in uplifting heavy hearts, leading prayers at
Camp Hope and at La Moneda presidential palace.
