This document provides guidance on first aid for choking adults. It outlines the signs of choking, demonstrates how to assess if someone is choking, plan emergency response, and implement back blows or abdominal thrusts to dislodge obstructions. It also addresses how to modify the response for pregnant women or obese individuals by using higher chest compressions. The goal is to teach volunteers how to identify and rescue someone who is choking through a practice checklist.
