Personal statement
I have been involved in customer care positions since 1996 with a background as an environmental
management, waste management and health and safety consultant. My experience includes working
within both large and small sized firms since June1996. As a consultant I have assisted at least 300
small and medium sized firms with improving their environmental performance. I believe in working
collaboratively to solve problems as efficiently as possible whilst at the lowest possible cost. I have
worked with local authority employers and on a number of Welsh government projects providing
business support. I have also served in other customer support roles as an adaptable team player.

 Working within multi-disciplined teams providing business support functions
 Providing technical advice to management and employees at all levels within a company
 Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Writing reports & presenting findings

 Worked within a team of advisors providing recycling advice to residents of Caerphilly county
visiting up to 100 properties each day discussing recycling methods with householders
 Assisted fellow advisors with meeting daily KPI targets for advice given
 Recorded interactions with householders for the Councils waste department
 Worked non-standard hours to ensure that all householders were communicated with
 Assisted team leader and fellow team members in achieving challenging targets for residents

environmental management and waste disposal improvements they could make to their
