The little monkeys chattered. They chattered and chattered.
The owls hooted. They hooted and hooted.
The crickets chirped. They chirped and chirped.
The birds twittered. The mice squeaked. The mosquitoes hummed.
King Unggoy wondered. What was the matter?
The next morning he called all the animals to a meeting. He asked Tell me. What happened last night?
The mosquitoes attacked us, the mice said.
They hummed in our ears and bit us right and left, the little monkeys said.
We twittered and twittered because we were frightened, said the birds.
We chirped and chirped. We were frightened, too, the crickets added.
Now why did you bite the monkeys ears? King Unggoy asked the mosquitoes.
Good King, were very sorry. We were looking for our enemy, the crab. He always hides in a hole.
King Unggoy laughed loudly. You were looking for Mr. Crab in his hole? Thats why you tried to get into these poor animals ears!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
All the animals laughed with King Unggoy. What a joke! The mosquitoes were looking for Mr. Crab in the animals ears. Thats why even
