The First Lutheran Church in Manhattan Beach, CA is presenting a Christmas concert by the newly formed Opera Ensemble on December 22nd at 7pm. The Opera Ensemble is a group of accomplished operatic soloists who have performed with major opera companies and orchestras. The concert will feature seven soloists under the direction of Rhona Klinghofer, who has extensive experience as an opera singer and voice teacher. Refreshments will be served following the performance, with a suggested donation of $25.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22, 7 PM The Opera Ensemble is a newly formed group of accomplished Operatic soloists. Collectively, they have sung with the Los Angeles Opera under the baton of Maestros Placido Domingo and James Conlon, opened the Toys for Us Christmas Show at the Nokia theater with Stevie Wonder as well as soloed in the Brahms Requiem with theLos Cancioneroschorus and Orchestra. They have all won prestige's scholarships and competitions for education and performance excellence. Music Director and founder of The Opera Ensemble, Rhona Klinghofer earned her Bachelor and Master degrees from the Juilliard School. She has sung with Opera Paci鍖c for ten seasons as well recital and orchestral venues. Ms. Klinghofer is currently on the staff at El Camino College and teaches privately. The singers include Lauren Smith Woods - Soprano Ermin Cruz III - Baritone Amy Rodgers - Soprano Alexander Perkins III - Tenor Angaleen Molina- Mezzo- Soprano Stephen Clarke Doherty - Bass- Baritone Anne Monique Pace - SopranoJeffrey Smith - Baritone Refreshments served.
