- 11. Ng?i L?i l┐ │nh s│ng th?t, │nh s│ng ??n th? gian v┐ chi?u soi m?i ng??i. The Word was the true light that enlightens all men; and he was coming into the world.
- 12. Ng??i ? gi?a th? gian, v┐ th? gian ?? nh? Ng??i m┐ c┏, nh?ng l?i kh?ng nh?n bi?t Ng??i. He was in the world that had its being through him, and the world did not know him.

- 15. H? ???c sinh ra, kh?ng ph?i do kh┴ huy?t, c?ng ch?ng do ??c mu?n c?a nh?c th?, ho?c do ??c mu?n c?a ng??i ?┐n ?ng, nh?ng do b?i Thi┷n Ch┣a. to all who believe in the name of him who was born not out of human stock or urge of the flesh or will of man but of God himself.
- 16. Ng?i L?i ?? tr? n┷n ng??i ph┐m v┐ c? ng? gi?a ch┣ng ta. Ch┣ng t?i ?? ???c nh━n th?y vinh quang c?a Ng??i, vinh quang m┐ Ch┣a Cha ban cho Ng??i, l┐ Con M?t ??y tr┐n ?n s?ng v┐ s? th?t. The Word was made flesh, he lived among us, and we saw his glory, the glory that is his as the only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
