- 4. M畛t ng動畛i ph炭 h畛 kia c坦 m畛t ng動畛i qu畉n l箪, v ng動畛i ny b畛 t畛 c叩o 達 phung ph鱈 c畛a ch畛. ng ch畛 g畛i ng動畛i qu畉n l箪 畉n v b畉o r畉ng There was a rich man and he had a steward who was denounced to him for being wasteful with his property. He called for the man and said,
- 5. 'T担i nghe n坦i anh sao 坦? Anh h達y t鱈nh s畛 c担ng vi畛c qu畉n l箪 c畛a anh, v狸 t畛 nay, anh kh担ng th畛 lm qu畉n l箪 n畛a' What is this I hear about you? Draw me up an account of your stewardship because you are not to be my steward any longer.
- 6. Ng動畛i qu畉n l箪 ngh挑 th畉m r畉ng: 'T担i ph畉i lm th畉 no, v狸 ch畛 t担i c畉t ch畛c qu畉n l箪 c畛a t担i? Cu畛c 畉t th狸 kh担ng n畛i, n my th狸 h畛 ng動董i. Then the steward said to himself, Now that my master is taking the stewardship from me, what am I to do? Dig? I am not strong enough. Go begging? I should be too ashamed.
- 7. T担i bi畉t ph畉i li畛u th畉 no, 畛 khi m畉t ch畛c qu畉n l箪, th狸 s畉 c坦 ng動畛i 坦n ti畉p t担i v畛 nh h畛'. Ah, I know what I will do to make sure that when I am dismissed from office there will be some to welcome me into their homes
- 8. V畉y anh g畛i t畛ng con n畛 c畛a ch畛 畉n v h畛i ng動畛i th畛 nh畉t r畉ng: Then he called his masters debtors one by one. To the first he said,
- 9. Anh m畉c n畛 ch畛 t担i bao nhi棚u?' Ng動畛i 畉y 叩p: 'M畛t trm th湛ng d畉u'. Anh b畉o ng動畛i 畉y r畉ng: 'Anh h達y l畉y vn t畛, ng畛i xu畛ng mau m vi畉t l畉i: nm m動董i'. How much do you owe my master? One hundred measures of oil, was the reply. The steward said, Here, take your bond; sit down straight away and write fifty.
- 10. R畛i anh h畛i ng動畛i kh叩c r畉ng: 'C嘆n anh, anh m畉c n畛 bao nhi棚u?' Ng動畛i 畉y 叩p: 'M畛t trm gi畉 l炭a mi畉n'. Anh b畉o ng動畛i 畉y r畉ng: 'Anh h達y l畉y vn t畛 m vi畉t l畉i: t叩m m動董i'. To another he said, And you, sir, how much do you owe? One hundred measures of wheat, was the reply. The steward said, Here, take your bond and write eighty.
- 11. V ch畛 khen ng動畛i qu畉n l箪 b畉t l動董ng 坦 達 hnh 畛ng c叩ch kh担n kh辿o: v狸 con c叩i 畛i ny khi 畛i x畛 v畛i 畛ng lo畉i th狸 kh担n kh辿o h董n con c叩i s畛 s叩ng. The master praised the dishonest steward for his astuteness. For the children of this world are more astute in dealing with their own kind than are the children of light.

Ph畉n Th畉y, Th畉y b畉o c叩c con: H達y d湛ng ti畛n c畛a gian d畛i m mua l畉y b畉n h畛u, 畛 khi m畉t h畉t ti畛n b畉c, th狸 h畛 s畉 坦n ti畉p c叩c con vo ch畛n an ngh畛 畛i 畛i And so I tell you this: use money, tainted as it is, to win you friends, and thus make sure that when it fails you, they will welcome you into the tents of eternity.
- 13. Ai trung t鱈n trong vi畛c nh畛, th狸 c滴ng trung t鱈n trong vi畛c l畛n; ai gian d畛i trong vi畛c nh畛, th狸 c滴ng gian d畛i trong vi畛c l畛n. The man who can be trusted in little things can be trusted in great; the man who is dishonest in little things will be dishonest in great.
- 14. If then you cannot be trusted with money, that tainted thing, who will trust you with genuine riches? And if you cannot be trusted with what is not yours, who will give you what is your very own? V畉y n畉u c叩c con kh担ng trung thnh trong vi畛c ti畛n c畛a gian d畛i, th狸 ai s畉 giao ph坦 c畛a ch但n th畉t cho c叩c con?
- 15. Kh担ng 畉y t畛 no c坦 th畛 lm t担i hai ch畛: v狸 ho畉c n坦 gh辿t ch畛 ny v m畉n ch畛 kia; ho畉c ph畛c ch畛 ny v khinh ch畛 n畛. C叩c con kh担ng th畛 lm t担i Thi棚n Ch炭a m l畉i lm t担i ti畛n c畛a 動畛c" No servant can be the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the second, or treat the first with respect and the second with scorn. You cannot be the slave both of God and of money.
