Her husband Joseph, being a man of honour and wanting to spare her publicity, decided to divorce her informally ng Giu-se, ch畛ng b, l ng動畛i c担ng ch鱈nh v kh担ng mu畛n t畛 gi叩c b, n棚n m畛i 畛nh t但m b畛 b c叩ch k鱈n 叩o.
He had made up his mind to do this when the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ng ang toan t鱈nh nh動 v畉y, th狸 k狸a s畛 th畉n Ch炭a hi畛n 畉n b叩o m畛ng cho 担ng r畉ng
"Ny 担ng Giu-se, con ch叩u a-v鱈t, 畛ng ng畉i 坦n b Ma-ri-a v畛 担ng v畛, v狸 ng動畛i con b c動u mang l do quy畛n nng Ch炭a Th叩nh Th畉n. Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit.
She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins. B s畉 sinh con trai v 担ng ph畉i 畉t t棚n cho con tr畉 l Gi棚-su, v狸 ch鱈nh Ng動畛i s畉 c畛u d但n Ng動畛i kh畛i t畛i l畛i c畛a h畛.
Now all this took place to fulfil the words spoken by the Lord through the prophet: T畉t c畉 s畛 vi畛c ny 達 x畉y ra, l 畛 畛ng nghi畛m l畛i x動a kia Ch炭a ph叩n qua mi畛ng ng担n s畛:
The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and they will call him Emmanuel, a name which means God-is-with-us. Ny 但y, Trinh N畛 s畉 th畛 thai v sinh h畉 m畛t con trai, ng動畛i ta s畉 g畛i t棚n con tr畉 l Em-ma-nu-en, ngh挑a l "Thi棚n-Ch炭a-畛c湛ng-ch炭ng-ta."
When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home Khi t畛nh gi畉c, 担ng Giu-se lm nh動 s畛 th畉n Ch炭a d畉y v 坦n v畛 v畛 nh
