The ant works hard without supervision but a cockroach supervisor is hired to improve productivity. This leads to increased paperwork and meetings that reduce the ant's work time. More managers are hired, including a cicada department head, and production decreases. An audit finds the department is overstaffed and the ant is fired for a negative attitude.
