This document provides instructions for setting up a Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) system. It outlines 9 steps to prepare stations and check that systems like power, air, and materials handling are ready. It then describes using control software to operate all workstations and processes. Quality control is performed at the end to check if finished parts meet parameters using sensors like cameras, position sensors and density sensors.
3. 1. Check that the main power to the CIM is
switched on.
2. Check that the circuit breakers in the CIM
fuse box are switched on.
3. Check that compressed air available.
4. Remove all the pallets from the wagons.
4. 5. Remove all pallets from the storage
tower.
6. Check that at the Pneumatics Station
(PN-2800) is ready to load the raw
materials.
7. Remove lens cap from the Vision
Robot.
8. Check that there are no cylinders in the
loading chute.
9. Check that there are no pallets on the
loading area.
5. Verify that each of the workstations to
be used during the process are lit and
the correct switches in each element
are activated . Check the bulbs of each
season.
8. This section describe how to Set the
stations to operate under Control by
running VuRun CIM.
From here you control all processes
involved using software that is
connected to each of the
workstations.
12. To transport the wagon or the
workpiece to be machined to the winch
must be a person in charge of that,
because it does not have a mechanical
arm.
14. The movement of the robot arm can be
controlled by a software executable
programs, or manually by a control.
In the process the robotic arm is used to
move cars in the cab of the router.
17. At this station quality control of the
finished part it is performed, images are
taken to determine if it meets the
required parameters.
