The City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, has seen tremendous growth in the dining and retail services as well as the addition of multifamily developments. Here is an overview of the commercial developments our city welcomed in 2016 and 2017.

#6: Selection of new development. There has been much going on in the city, and I couldn’t possibly cover it all.
#7: New housing.

The Canyons, Tradan Heights, Berry Creek, Sawgrass, Teal Ridge, Woodland Trails, Oakdale Park
All existing plats finishing up inventory.
1 major preliminary plat, but it expired. So no large subdivisions coming, just finishing up what was started.
#8: Residential construction over the past 16 years
Still pretty busy. Not nearly as busy as the boom years, but improvement over the recession years.
Majority are being built by Ideal Homes – and they are here to stay

A lot of large projects are under construction right now.
Which is great news. The bad news is that the amount projects under review is likely to lead to further decline for 2018
And we have seen a number of business closures again this year – most are being quickly replaced
