The Georgia Air National Guard provides well-trained and motivated forces to support full spectrum operations including offensive, defensive, stability, and civil support missions. It is composed of over 2,800 airmen in various units including the 116th Air Control Wing which flies E-8C aircraft and the 165th Airlift Wing which flies C-130 aircraft. The Georgia Air National Guard also has various geographically separated units and supports state and federal missions both domestically and abroad.
