Subject C Allocation of Class Rooms, Rooms for Laboratories and Faculty Rooms for individual departments/sections Dear Sir, Adverting to the aforementioned subject it submitted that the proposed building for Polytechnic kadapa was inspected in detail with reference to AICTE 2020 C 2021 area norms by the undersigned and other faculty members of polytechnic kadapa. Upon Inspection, it was found that rooms were deficient. In order to overcome the deficiency, the matter was discussed in detail and was decided to go for Aluminum partition works in rooms whose area is more than the AICTE requirement, as the brick and flooring work has been complected. In this regard, a proposalfor the Aluminum Partition works and other necessary alterations & modifications works (excluding labs for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Apparel Technology) with supporting drawings was also submitted. It is pertinent to inform that the aforementioned work would have been avoided if the inspection would have been done before brick work. Modifications, Alterations & Aluminum Partition works in Civil Engineering Laboratories, Mechanical Engineering Laboratories and Apparel Technology can be proposed only after the allocation of Lab/Workshops/Class Room/Faculty Rooms to individual departments/Sections. Inview of the aforesaid it is requested to allocate the rooms to the departments/Sectionssuchthat they can proposefor necessary Modifications, Alterations & Aluminum Partition works in the respective rooms. Submitted for necessary action at the earliest.
